Bates College graduated 473 students from 39 states and 42 countries on May 27, 2018. Cumulatively, the Class of 2018 performed 82,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates' commitment to community learning and civic action.

The following students earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2018 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 255th Commencement exercises on May 4 -5 2018, at the McCamish Pavilion.

At the 186th Commencement ceremony on May 27, Wesleyan University awarded 745 bachelor of art degrees, 41 master of art degrees, 21 master of art in liberal studies degrees, and 20 doctor of philosophy degrees.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.

On May 9, more than 300 Wesleyan students received University prizes and awards during a reception. Wesleyan's awards, prizes, and scholarships program connects recipients to the legacies of alumni, administrators, faculty, and friends of the university whose lives and work are honored through endowed gifts. Recipients of the academic scholarships, fellowships, and prizes represent the highest ideals of Wesleyan--intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, creative expressoin, leadership, and service.

The Wesleyan wrestling team is having an incredible 2017-18 season in large part to its dynamic duo of Devon Carrillo '17 and Isaiah Bellamy '18. The two have constantly dominated on the mats all season and currently rank No. 1 and No. 2 in the country, respectively, in pins.

Students will travel around the globe and throughout the U.S. during the College's holiday break to such locations as New Zealand, India and more.

More than 20 Wesleyan students are co-authors of a research manuscript accepted for publication in a prestigious biology research journal. The paper focuses on a species of fruit fly that has evolved, and has the ability to ingest a toxic plant.

Students have enrolled and are members of the Carleton College class of 2021.
